Unlock Your Creativity: 11-Week Professional Printmaking Mentoring Course

Are you a printmaking professional looking to take your skills to the next level? Our exclusive 11-week mentoring course is designed to challenge and elevate your current creative practice. The schedule includes both group studio sessions and online 1-2-1 teams sessions, providing a good balance of in-person and remote learning opportunities. Sessions are held every 2 weeks in person, allowing ample time for participants to plan, create, and refine their work. Our fully equipped studio offers access to specialised Intaglio and Relief tools, materials, and equipment, empowering you to explore and produce a diverse body of work. In every session, Dena will ensure your artwork is ready on screens, prepare your printmaking working bays, and provide support to the whole group in a creative collaborative environment.

Prior to week 1, all participants will be contacted for a 10 min phone call to discuss targets to prepare and an 8-week planner which will be required to fill out and email directly to Dena prior to your first session.

Thursday, 19th September - Group Studio Session: Participant introduction to the studio, equipment, and individual start to 3-color screen printing on paper or fabric up to A3.

Thursday, 26th September - 30mins 1-2-1 Online Teams Session x 2 persons

Thursday, 3rd October - Group Studio Session: Working on individual projects, group discussion of print competitions, exhibitions, and fairs.

Thursday, 10th October - 30mins 1-2-1 Online Teams Session x 2 persons

Thursday, 17th October - Group Studio Session: Working on individual projects & peer feedback.

Thursday, 24th October - 30mins 1-2-1 Online Teams Session x 2 persons

Thursday, 7th November - Group Studio Session: Working on individual projects, presenting work, and pricing.

Thursday, 14th October - 30mins 1-2-1 Online Teams Session x 2 persons

Thursday, 5th December - Group Studio Open Access Session: Group feedback & future target setting, Kiwi Print Shop, Open Access Membership dates and details. Home bakes and festive celebrations. (Open access members 10% discount if booked on the 5th December for 2025).

Course includes A4 screen exposures inhouse, up to 5 designs 2/3 layers, edition or 12 per paper prionts per design.

What you will need: A4 sketchbook, pneil case with basic drawing tools, apron and feel free to bring a cold drink. Tea, coffee and free parking on site.
