This is a 2 day workshop tailored to teach you how to screen print your very own handmade batch of t-shirts & tote bags. Perfect opportunity to kick start your screen printing experience making your own print garments as gifts, for fairs or you. The course if over two days and covers all the essentials in designing, exposing screens through to screen printing.

Day 1:
Create your A4, 2 colour artwork using a range of drawing tools and materials.
Scan and edit your artwork.
Print artwork to film.
Prepare your colours.
Demonstration of how to set up your t-shirts to screen print.

Day 2:
Expose your artwork to a screen.
Set up to print.
Mix your colour.
Screen print your t-shirts x 5
Screen Print your natural long handled tote bags x 5
Group informal overview of t-shirts
Discussion on resources and trouble shooting.

The workshop will include x 5 t-shirts organic cotton t-shirt, 155g/m2. Wash cool, hang dry x 5 natural long handled tote bags.

Times: 10.00am - 4.00pm

What to bring: Cold snacks, water, old shirt or apron, pencil, pen and any visual ideas such as sketches, magazine cut outs, online links, artists or photographs.
