This intermediate course is designed to elevate your beginners printing skills and explore further a range of techniques such as colour separations, mark making, monotypes and creating small editions. The evening course is guided by Dena, a qualified educator with over 30 years of experience gained working in education and the running of her own studio. Furthermore obtaining her Masters in printmaking at The Royal College of Arts alongside a Post Graduate Certificae in Higher Education.

What the course will cover:

In this course, you will develop further your basic skills and techniques through silk screen mono printing, lino reduction, emulsion screen print and colour Monotypes.

You will prepare images using various drawing tools, and learn how to edit and transfer those images onto screens in preparation for printing.

We will engage in one-on-one target setting as well as group feedback sessions.

By the end of this course, you will have developed a refined skill set that prepares you for more advanced printing techniques.

Spaces: The course is limited to 6-8 persons to ensure all participants are provided with support and plenty of space to print lots of wonderful work.

What to bring: An old shirt or apron, pencil, pen, eraser, A5 or A6 notebook, wear closed-toed shoes.

Parking: Free parking outside the studio.
