Advanced Mentoring Course 2026

This advanced printmaking mentoring course is designed for practitioners seeking expert support and guidance from a highly experienced and well-established professional printmaker and teacher. Delivered over eight weeks in a one-week-on, one-week-off format, the course provides focused mentoring alongside time for independent development, allowing participants to critically extend and refine their creative practice.

Working in a fully equipped studio, participants will have access to specialised Intaglio and Relief tools, materials, and equipment, supporting the production of a resolved and diverse body of work. Each session is supported by Dena, who will prepare artwork for screens where required, set up individual printmaking bays, and provide ongoing technical and conceptual guidance within a supportive, collaborative studio environment.

Course includes A4 screen exposures inhouse, up to 4 designs 2/3 layers, edition or 6 paper prints per design. Additional charge will occur for designs larger than A4, paper, screen exposures, inks and binder to cover the cost of these materials and Dena's time in printing artwork onto film, cleaning and exposing screens and cleaning off of artwork.

What you will need: A4 sketchbook, pencil case with basic drawing tools, apron and feel free to bring a cold drink. Tea, coffee and free parking on site.
